This is a new blog dedicated to those who have lived through the process of selling/buying a home. Or are thinking about being in the industry. Specifically, folks moving -in and/or -out of The Greater Houston, Texas Metropolitan Area. Even if this doesn't apply to you directly, their are a few good tidbits of knowledge you can take away from this blog discussion. Primarily, a sense of what's right, wrong, and needs 'fixin' when it comes to owning The American Dream (a house) and getting into a property.I invite consumers to log in, tell me what's on their mind, or discuss anything related to residential real estate. Good, bad, or even the ugly.....we are an equal opportunity blogfest. If I can't answer your question or comment, then I'll try to find you a resource that can. My real goal here is just to facilitate good old 'conversation'.....learning from one another....and sharing knowledge. Maybe a few laughs along the way, too.
A little background for those whom have any interest...I'm a real human, female in fact, 40+something, in the realty world for approximately 7 years now with a reputable firm (OMG...how did that happen?). I decided I would start a blog to let people know what really happens behind-the-scenes in the real estate industry. Like a Dear Abby or investigative reporter type thing. Your average run-of-the-mill, next door neighbor type person, who wants to set the record straight for the world to see. Knowledge is power, I always would say. And, if I can shed some light on the unknown, I've done more for the profession than most.
So, it is with excitement and blind faith that I launch my 'words to the wise' to anyone interested in learning a thing or two about this crazy business and life we call real estate. Happy reading! :)
Your opinions and comments are always welcomed here....join us. What's on your mind today?
